The annual photo contest celebrates the beauty of our lakes, its people, and good times.

Capturing Moments

Rules

  1. Entries must be received before deadline.
  2. Three photos per entrant, any category.
  3. All judges’ decisions are final.

Prizes

  • Winners announced via website on Sept. 15, and prizes awarded by Oct. 10th.
  • Digital gift cards to the KBLA Boutique.
  • Winners are memorialized on the website.

Landscape

Capture the natural beauty of Kahshe and Bass Lakes throughout the year during all seasons.

Wildlife

Snap flora and fauna on Kahshe or Bass Lakes; the wide range of wildlife of insects, birds, animals and flowers.

Lake Life

Film good times with your loved ones; friends, family and pets on Kahshe or Bass Lakes.

Lake Kids

Memorialize kids being kids at, on and in Kahshe or Bass Lakes.

Yearly Theme

The Specialty Category for 2026 is Action. Show us your best shot! Think waterskiing, cliff jumping, kayaking, boating, swimming, or any moment that captures the energy of life on the lake.
