Work by the KBLA is done by action-oriented teams with defined responsibilities.

Empowering Action: Committees and Volunteer Initiatives

The KBLA Board works to find volunteers, create terms of reference and support these action groups. The KBLA currently has six committees; Ad-hoc committees are created by the Board to achieve specific goals, after which they are discontinued. At present, there are no ad-hoc committees.

Beach Committee

Nurtures the quality of Nagaya Beach for cottagers and residents.

Conservation Committee

Protects the lakes' quality and preserves their history.

COM Committee

Promotes, enhances and supports community strength.

Rock Marker Committee

Fosters safety through the Rock Marker System.

Water Access Committee

Empowers water access property owners via representation and advocacy.

Water Safety Committee

Bolsters water safety through education, outreach, representation.
