Carl Franklin Break (1918 — Apr 19, 2014)

Carl Break died peacefully aged 95 on April 19th. He will be greatly missed by Iva, his wife of 73 years, by his children, Evan, Gordon (Brenda), William (Debby) Pauline Paradis (Arthur) Carol Shepstone (Norman), and Richard (Carol), by his 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren, and by his many, many friends. Carl was not a cottager; he lived in the house opposite the entrance to Bass Lake Park.  And for many years he was the guardian of the key which allowed access to the park for the organizers of the Housey’s Rapids Picnic.
