Harvey Borden (1913 — Aug 3, 2017)

After living a full and successful life, Harvey Borden, passed away peacefully on August 3rd at 104 years of age. He was married to Ruth for 65 years, before she died in 2000, and had three children; Gloria, Alan, and Barry, who, with their spouses, added to the family six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Despite failing health, he still managed to go fishing in the boat more than once last summer. 

The entire family had rich relationships with Harvey, spending the summer months around him at Grey Owl, fishing with him, and listening to his stories of the early days at Kahshe Lake, starting in 1946. All have gone on to develop their own stories and continue to enjoy the beauty and excitement of Kahshe Lake. Harvey Borden will be missed by many, but a strong memory of him will always remain.
