John (Jack) William Kehl (1928 — Mar 13, 2013)

Jack spent time on Kahshe Lake over his entire life from 1928 to 2013. He spent many summers with his parents, Papa and Nana Kehl, and his five brothers and one sister at the “Kehl compound of cottages” that was located on North Kahshe Lake Road between Nagaya Beach and the road to the government dock.  

Jack subsequently had a cottage on Oak Road and finally on South Bay Road. His favourite times were enjoying the company of family and friends at Kahshe Lake. Two of Jack’s children (John and Judy Giles) have cottages on the lake and other Kehl relatives including Ross Kehl, Sue Francis, Eric Kehl, Jane Edwards, Margie Schliwa, Geordie Kehl, and Ab Kehl are also located on the lake. The smile, warm welcome, and good times with Jack will be missed by these and many others.
