Patricia Kathleen Heaps (1935 — Feb 17, 2012)

It is with wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Pat Heaps in February of this year. Pat married Bernie Heaps in 1960 and spent many happy, industrious summers on the lake with him. She loved her time at the cottage fishing, building, and observing the wildlife (children and animals) at Kahshe.  

Pat and Bernie built their first cottage in 1960 in the bay on the north side of Hen's and Chicks where the Francis' and the daughters of Josies are now.  It is the one on the west side of the bay with the red roof.  After selling that they stayed with Bernie's parents Mary and Alf Heaps and then rented Agnew's small cottage near Nagaya Beach before purchasing Bernie's father's cottage in the bay to Little Sunny Lake where they spent 36 years of fun in the sun. 

Pat was involved in the Craft Show at Rockhaven for many years and was well known for her quilting and crafts.  Pat will be greatly missed by her family and her friends on Kahshe, but she would be glad that all of us are still enjoying this beautiful lake.
