Garth Jamison (1929 — July 8, 2011)

Garth Jamison, a long-time cottager on Kahshe Lake since 1945, passed away on July 8, 2011, at the age of 82. He was a former member of the Snowcrest Riders and the Orillia Snowmobile Club. He spent many wonderful times at Kahshe and shared many wonderful stories about his past adventures at the lake. He will be missed with deep sadness and regret by his wife Dorothy (nee Tuck), by his daughter, Pamela Jamison (fiance Jason Anderson) of Brampton, and son, Michael Jamison (wife Darlene) of Grand Valley. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicole, Caitlin, Joshua, Melanie, Jasmine, and Jade, and stepfather of Linda Weiland (husband Peter) of Orillia and Gary Smith of Toronto. He was also the brother of Bob Jamison of Shelbourne and the late Ron and David.
