Helen Jones (1921 — Jan 3, 2017)

At the grand age of 95, Helen died on Jan 3, 2017. Although her body was failing she maintained her full wit until the end. A cottager since 1958, Helen and Gord (d. 2009) built at the east end of Kahshe as a place for family (Gord Jr., Glenn, Barb) and friends to gather and enjoy. 

Helen loved the lake and continued to come up with the assistance of her family in 2015. She and Gord imparted the love of the lake to their three grandchildren whom they fiercely loved, Andrew, Laura, and Jonathan. Her great-granddaughters are now the fourth generation to love Kahshe. Helen and Gord were great friends of Dorothy and Ross O'Brien; all four are now sitting around the campfire together looking down on their beloved Kahshe Lake.
