John Kehl (Nov 26, 1951 — Aug 11, 2018)

On Sunday, September 2, 2018, over 400 people celebrated the amazing life of John Kehl. Born in 1951, John packed much into his short life, which ended tragically on August 11, 2018, at Kahshe Lake. He was the son of the late Jack and Dorothy Kehl; the brother of Judy Giles and Kathy Kehl; the devoted husband of Bonnie, and the loving father of Lauren and Adam. Having grown up near Nagaya Beach, it was important to John that he and Bonnie should have their own piece of paradise on Kahshe. So one of their first endeavours was to build their cottage in Grant’s Bay.

John took great pride in everything he did. In business, John was an accomplished chartered accountant. In his personal life, he was an unequaled host, an avid competitor, an amazing cook, a knowledgeable wine connoisseur, and an unwavering advocate for Kahshe Lake. He was generous, kind, hospitable, charitable, and always with a smile on his face. He will be missed by many on Kahshe Lake, as well as many around the world.
